Sending Large Format Files

When sending banner files instead of you having to upload the huge full size banner files, please try this:

Once the job has been approved by you or your client, open the file in Photoshop (starting from the banner at it's "full finished size" and at 300 dpi), resize the image to make it 1/4 the finished size and leave it at 300 dpi. The resulting Photoshop file should be fairly small. This is the file you can upload to our FTP site. HOC will then place it in an illustrator file and make a press level pdf to send our prepress department. This usually makes a file that is small enough to even email. So give this a try with the next banner order and see how it goes.
